Updating Shipping Policy:
Knipschildt takes great care to produce the highest quality hand made chocolates, and we are updating our shipping procedures to ensure that the product reaches the customers in the very best condition.
General Shipping Information
We make all our products fresh as we receive orders. Due to this fact please allow 24 to 48 hours for us to process your order. During the holiday season please allow 48 to 72 hours. UPS is our preferred shipping vendor. All shipping vendors only deliver on business days unless specified Saturday delivery (additional charges do apply).
Spring to Fall Shipping
Due to the possibility of warm weather in our location and the locations we are shipping to we will modify our shipping policy from April 1 to October 1.
• During warm weather cooling materials will be added to packages to protect your products from melting at no extra charge to the recipient.
• We can not have packages in transit over the weekend because of the possibility of melting therefore orders may be held over the weekend and be shipped the following Monday.
• Customers which are in areas where shipping through UPS ground takes 1 or 2 days will still use UPS ground unless we are otherwise notified. Transit times based on map below.
• Customers Which are in areas where shipping takes 3 or more days by UPS ground must be shipped with either 2nd day air or Next Day Air, as decided by the buyer. Note: If the buyer does not specify the shipping type they will automatically be upgraded to 2nd day air shipping.
This change to shipping policy is required to guarantee that the product does not arrive at the destination in anything other than top condition.
Exception: Orders consisting of only sauces and syrups may be shipped UPS ground at the preference of the buyer.
